The North American Guild of Beer Writers (NAGBW) announces its 7th annual competition for writers, bloggers, authors and broadcasters. The 2020 NAGBW Awards will accept entries from Monday, July 27 to Sunday, Aug. 23.
The NAGBW Awards honor the best beer and brewing industry coverage in 13 categories, ranging from newspaper and magazine stories to podcasts.
With its annual writing competition, the Guild aims to broaden the conversation about beer and brewing, raise the standards of writing, provide leadership, and offer inspiration for journalists, while also encouraging and supporting more participation throughout all media channels.
Deadline to apply: Sunday, Aug. 23, 2020. Entries published between July 1, 2019 and June 30, 2020 are eligible. Editors may submit work on behalf of their contributors, but we ask that you abide by an honor system of first confirming with the writer it’s OK.
