Join us at 8:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 29 for a conversation about telling stories in today’s media climate, the challenges of reporting for mainstream and niche audiences, and how we can explore new ideas in 2021. We’ll make sure to save time after our conversation for an open discussion with all NAGBW members about their experiences in today’s state of beer-focused media.
- Crystal Luxmore – An award-winning journalist and beer expert who’s appeared in the Globe and Mail, Chatelaine, Flare, Elle, Toronto Life, and Beer Advocate. With her sister, Tara, she’s the co-founder of Beer Sisters, an education, branding, and events consultancy, and editor at The Growler Ontario. Crystal is an Advanced Cicerone® and Prud’homme Beer Sommelier.
- Jeff Alworth – An author and journalist, Jeff’s award-winning work has been featured in his own blog, Beervana, as well as All About Beer, Craft Beer & Brewing, and more. His books include The Widmer Way, The Beer Bible, The Secrets of Master Brewers, and Cider Made Simple. He also co-hosts the Beervana Podcast with Oregon State University economics professor Patrick Emerson.
