CBC Meeting & Panel Discussions

NAGBW members are invited to gather to see friends, make new ones, and learn from each other during this in-person meeting. We’ll have the chance to hear from industry pros and gain insight on people and stories that can help our storytelling:

• Jackson Greer, head brewer at Modist: We’ll talk about how changes in the supply chain has impacted his work, ingredient selection and what he’s seeking for Modist’s beers, how he approaches trends, and what’s caught his eye lately.
• Brewing Change Collaborative: A group dedicated to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion for people in the brewing and beverage industries through advocacy, outreach, and education. Learn about their outreach efforts and how they’ve helped build new understanding of anti-racism work and connections for local businesses. (Read more about their work in this story.)
• Fair State Brewing Cooperative Union: Labor is rapidly increasing as a topic of news coverage and Fair State is recognized as the first microbrewery in the U.S. to become unionized. Hear about the group, what led to unionization, and how you can better understand stories of labor for your work.
