The Complexity of Mexican Lagers and the Latinx Community

December 9, 2021 @ 8:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Despite a wide range of people, backgrounds, and experiences, just one style of beer, the Mexican Lager, has seemingly been nominated to represent the entirety of Latinx people in America. Join us at 8 p.m. Eastern on Dec. 9 for a conversation with Ashley Rodriguez as we explore this disparity and talk about the reporting and storytelling behind the piece “One Style for All: The Complexity of Mexican Lagers and Latinx People in the Brewing Industry,” which Ashley wrote as part of the NAGBW Diversity in Beer Writing Grant series.
