Today, the North American Guild of Beer Writers announces new members of its Board of Directors. These board members were approved by membership and will be instrumental in shaping the Guild’s direction, outreach, and programming moving forward:
- Pat Walls: Awards coordinator
- Julie Rhodes: Digital communications coordinator
- Hollie Stephens and Beth Demmon: Diversity in Beer Writing Grant coordinators
- Jeremy Banas: Membership coordinator
Steve Hamburg will continue to serve in his role as Treasurer.
“I am grateful to these individuals for stepping up to help ensure the Guild has strong, consistent leadership,” says Kate Bernot, director of the North American Guild of Beer Writers. “They each bring a wealth of experience, talent, and perspective to their roles and we are appreciative that they chose to share these in service of the Guild.”
These board members will assume positions effective immediately.
